Whenever Clarice Starling speaks in this book it is Jodie Foster I hear in my head, when Dr Lecter talks it is Anthony Hopkins (in one of *the* best film roles in my opinion!). Having seen the adaptation first, and quite a faithful one, means I had an idea of the way these people looked and sounded.
